Andrew Polk -- Executive Director Mr. Polk is in his second year at James Bowie High School. He is serving as Associate Director of Bands, Director of Percussion Studies, and Director of Guitar Studies. Over his eight years of teaching, Mr. Polk has served as Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Percussion Studies at Desoto High School, Smithson Valley High School, South Garland High School, and Elgin High School. While involved with these programs, Mr. Polk has led numerous ensembles to awards including UIL Sweepstakes, UIL State Marching Contest, BOA Regional Championships, WGI Regional Championships, medals in both NTCA and TCGC circuits, first divisions at UIL State Solo & Ensemble for percussion ensemble, an overall Grand Champion title with the All American Music Festival in the category of Indoor Marching Percussion, and an invitation to the BOA National Percussion Ensemble Festival. Mr. Polk also has worked as a consultant for Insignia Percussion as well as executive director for Sfortzando Indoor Percussion. Mr. Polk holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music with emphasis in Voice and Percussion from Texas A&M University at Commerce. He also attended Texas Tech University working toward a vocal arts degree. Mr. Polk is an alumnus of the Sky Ryders Drum and Bugle Corps. He has performed with the St. David's Chamber Ensemble from Austin, the Collin Creek Marimba Choir, and Allen Philharmonic Orchestra. He also has been guest artist for the Organization of American Kodaly Educators Convention as well as been a clinician for the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention and UTA Marching Percussion Camp. Mr. Polk has been an adjudicator for marching band and percussion contests throughout the nation. He also has been the percussion coordinator for the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Band. |

Aaron Collins -- Tenors Aaron has been teaching in the Austin area for over 7 years. He has previously worked with Bowie, Pflugerville and Elgin High Schools. He is currently the battery technician at perennial state finalist, Westlake High School. Along with his duties working with the marching percussion section, he teaches private lessons, conducts percussion ensembles and works with the feeding middle schools. Aaron was a member of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2000, and the Phantom Regiment from 2001-2003. He is also a permanent fixture in the Austin live music scene, as a member of several local bands. |

Sean Frittelli -- Visual Born in Austin, Texas, Sean Frittelli began his percussion studies at Bailey Middle School with Diane Gorzycki. He started his early marching career at James Bowie High School where he participated in many TCGC competitions as well as a performance at the 2000 PASIC Convention. During his junior year in high school, Sean transferred to Pflugerville High School to become a member of the Pflugerville TCGC drum line. At the age of 16, he became a member of the Phantom Regiment bass line with Caption Head Brian Mason for the 2001-2002 seasons. For the 2003-05 seasons, he participated with Caption Head Paul Rennick. Sean was extremely fortunate to have Brian Lowe (aka “Chavez”) as his bass tech for all five years in Phantom Regiment. After high school, he attended Morehead State University and studied with Brian Mason. While there, he earned first place at the PASIC Convention with the Morehead drumline. Sean has been a member of the teaching staff of Bastrop Middle School as well as Bastrop and Victoria Memorial High Schools. He is currently on staff at Dripping Springs High School. Widely regarded in both bass drum and visual techniques, he has given master classes at Westlake High School and others. Just recently Sean has been added to the teaching staff for the Austin Independent WGI drum line. He also performs with PCI Productions |

Arnold Haffner -- Bass Arnold is currently pursuing a Music Education major in San Antonio, Texas. Thus far, his teaching career has lead him to several positions including Judson High School in Converse, Texas for two years as a battery technician, and for the last two years as a battery technician for James Bowie High School in Austin, Texas. Arnold has spent a number of years in DCI as a member of numerous bass lines, including Revolution from 2000-2002, Blue Knights in 2003, and 2004-2005 with the Bluecoats. He has experience under the quality instruction from many of DCI’s finest including Kyle Arwine, Kris Hartmann, Tommy Williams, Tony King, Pat Amann, Lane Army, Ray Ulibarri, Mike Macintosh, and Adam Clay. Arnold also hopes to continue his education at the University of Texas in the near future. |

John Potter -- Snare John is currently in his fifth year of teaching, and is the Assistant Director of Percussion at Akins High School in Austin, Texas. Along with private lessons, Mr. Potter acts as Director of the Akins High School Drumline, where he conducts rehearsals and oversees the marching element of the percussion ensemble. Previously, Mr. Potter has worked with Pflugerville High School as well as Alvin High School. Mr. Potter was a member of the snare line for the 2002 and 2003 Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps where he was instructed by Brett Kuhn and Mike Macintosh, as well as a member of the 2001 Phantom Regiment under Brian Mason. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing a Music Education degree from Texas State University. |
